Today i have been sewing together the blocks and they are now all done!
I'm really pleased with how it's come out so far, i just hope Mum likes it too!!
The top left block was the one voted for by the ladies at CTnY ;o)
I'd picked out this toning fabric from the same range for the sashing but it's not quite right...i think the blocks need a solid-ish border round them to separate them from the patterned sashing so i'll head off to the fabric shop again tomorrow and pick something out as unfortunately i don't have quite the right colour in my stash :o(

It's looking good Franney...I rather like the orange colour choice for the sashing but even a non sew-er like me agreesabout the solidness...keep it orange though cos it looks fab!
