Grey Days...

are not good for stash photography!
I've been uploading photos to Flickr and then on to Ravelry of my stash. I've got all my Yarn Yard on there now, plus swapped sock yarns. One more crate of sock yarn to go and then i can start on the loft!! I am scared!! Although i don't have huge amounts of any one wool, i do have rather a lot of different stuff, lots of odds and ends that i'll "find a use for one day"
You know what i mean, don't you? :oD

So, today i set the tripod up, sorted out a scrap of fabric to use as a filter on the flash and took a huge pile of wool downstairs to have a fashion shoot. Here are some of my favourites :o)

*blushing*

I've been spending the majority of my "online" time updating Ravelry! It's very addicting you know!
It is also a very very very very good resource and i am just SO happy that it was "invented" - i'm not sure that's the right choice of words but i am happy all the same.

In knitting news: the Breasty socks are back on the needles, i don't even know what size they are but they are the blue Susan Bates ones ans definitely smaller than 2.5mm - i must find that bit of paper with the sizes on! I expect this one will come out too small now knowing my luck, and i need to work on my tension because despite being a loose knitter all my needles are getting bent because i grip them so damned tightly! My blue SB's are slightly warped after only three rounds *oops*
I haven't settled on the entire pattern yet but i will start the Traveler's Stockings pattern again and see how it goes, i really like the pointed top and the fact that there's no rib is always a bonus :o)

I'm IN!

To Ravelry!!
I've had a lookie round, and added a couple of projects. This is going to turn into a full time occupation, it took half an hour just to add one project and i have a fair few to go yet!
I've looked at some favourite projects like the Babette Blanket and the Lizard Ridge and Klaralund too. I have since decided that i'm not going to be knitting a Klaralund as i just don't like the fit of it now that i have seen it on some slightly more breasty women :o(
I'm gutted, but don't worry i will get over it as there are just so many projects to drool over!
I love it, it's like having all the knitting content of the internet condensed into one website, Bloke wasn't too impressed when i tried explaining it to him, but I'M EXCITED!! :oD

You can find me on there as "franney" - God, but i'm original! *giggling*
