Opal Zebras
Well, here they finally are! I've been wanting to start these for ages and then decided they would be my SOTM club sock for January ;o)
So far they've been frogged *coughs* several times. They started out as toe-up Jaywalkers but i didn't like the toe and i couldn't get the pattern to "fit" so after a lot of faffing about they became "Welt Fantastic" from Charlene Schurch's "Sensational Knitted Socks" which my parents gave me for Christmas (Gawd bless Amazon wishlists ;o) )
I am also flailing madly between a tangled mess of frogged yarn and two on magic loop and two on two circs. I just can't decide which feels more comfortable!
So anyway, this is the progress so far, i hope to get down to the heel by the end of the weekend but i don't hold out much hope. I am rubbish when it comes to deadlines *lol*
Also in the picture is my gauge swatch and my trusty crochet hook for picking up the inevitable dropped stitches ;o)
A close up of one sock top and the yumminess that is Zeeeeebra!
