Yarn Pegs

I do like a bandwagon on occasion and after my recent Stylecraft stash enhancement i thought i would have a go at my own yarn pegs.
It also gave me a chance to use the impulse buy pyrography tool at long last!

Ann

Part two of the Spincushions CAL
Ann is  affable, nonchalant and neat.

All nine blocks made using a total of 147g of yarn compared to 160g used for PAM.
Nice pattern to follow, i am getting more used to joining the round with a dc as opposed to a slip stitch :)

Sock Knitting with a difference

Around 8 years ago i bought a circular sock knitting machine from a knitting group friend who was downsizing her collection and today i finally managed to knit something on it!

Obviously i haven't been trying non stop for 8 years. In fact yesterday was the second day i had set it up and had a go in all that time. Yesterday i was very unsuccessful but today it finally worked!

I am over the moon to have it working.
Unfortunately it is an 84 needle cylinder so i won't be making socks that fit me on it :(

CrochetingAlong

So i decided to join the CAL designed and run by Shelley at Spincushions. I mean, it's called FRAN so how could i not!

The first block is called PAM, and here are my nine. Isn't she pretty!
There are some really lovely versions being made in multiple colours but i have decided to use my cream aran stash and do the whole thing in just one colour.

This time ;)
