Another parcel of sockbags went off to Anni yesterday and i am happy to say they arrived today :o)
When Royal Mail work, they work like a dream! It's just a shame they will be striking from tomorrow lunchtime for two days and then rolling strikes for another two days. We may have no post for a week! :o(
Anyway, pop over to Anni's Etsy store and check out her gorgeous hand-dyed yarns :o)
A blog for my crafty activities, including but not limited to: knitting, crochet, cross-stitch and card making.

Bags of fun ;o)
So, why haven't i been knitting socks much this month? Because i've been making sock bags, that's blumming why! I am a bit stupid though cos i don't have any photos to prove it :oD
The whole story... i was knitting on my Feb socks and posted a pic on the Crafty Threads forum, in the photo was my sock bag and after a couple of comments about how lovely it was i offered to make somebody their own bag, so i did... she posted a pic of her sock bag (and i made a tote-type bag too for her) and Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt i had TWO orders!!
So, on Wednesday i sat at the machine and made 2 sock bags with co-ordinating tote-type bags and on Thursday (or was it Friday?) I sat at the machine and made another tote-type bag and then sent them all off on Monday to their new homes :o)
Now, i am a worrier, i can't help it, it's just what i do. The choice of fabrics was left down to me so of course i worried that it wasn't going to be right. I really can't sew a very straight line so i was worried about that too! Some of the bags arrived at their new home today and i needn't have worried so much because apparantly the recipients are all very happy with their bags, which makes me very happy too :oD
Tomorrow i will be making up a sock and tote-type combo for a competition winner no less! I know exactly what i am going to use and hopefully i will speed through them and be able to make up some more for selling on the forum *gulp* There has been a lot of interest in them and a few people have said that they would want one so i shall try it out and see how it goes!
Wish me luck!
