I managed to round up my cousins for a recreation of an old photo when we had our Family Day...
My Nanny has long since passed away so the nearest available Great-Grandma was drafted in - that's my Mum! A Great-Grandma at 61 no less!
That photo has always been one of my favourites, it reminds me of happy family get-togethers at my Grandparents house at Christmas time :o)
Our family day was absolutely lovely, it was so nice to be together at a happy event rather than a funeral and it was also a good chance for Trout and Yas to meet the family that neither of them really remember. Trout had met some of them but Yas hadn't met anyone before. she was so brave to come along and it was an absolute joy to meet her after all this time too!
I got some lovely photos of the two of them together but i think this is my favourite - Trout was slightly fed up with me pointing the camera at her :oD
