I haven't done any sewing for ages and i've had a hankering to make a Japanese Knot bag for quite some time and while i am dithering about my knitting/crochet projects i thought i'd have a go at one.
I've used a light curtain weight fabric for the outer and a very lightweight fabric inside which doesn't quite work but i couldn't be bothered to go in the loft for a rummage so just used what was to hand ;o)
The pattern came from All People Quilt, it's not the easiest pattern to follow and i have made a couple of boo-boos but it's not bad and will make a decent sized project bag for travelling on the bus or tram.
I was toying with the idea of making some for my shop but i'm not convinced of it's suitability :o/
