Unfortunately i hadn't been able to knit since we arrived in Newquay cos of the Flueything but i picked it back up last night and have just finished another two blocks of pale blue this morning. It currently measures 22" from edge to edge when it's lying flat but it stretches out to bigger than that when it's picked up ;o)

oooh that's looking lovely Franney :D...do you just keep going till it gets bigger or is it made up of separate squares???
Either way, it's brilliant :D

Thanks Linz x
It's a great construction... you knit a section, then cast off to the last stitch, turn it clockwise then pick up along one edge and knit that section, then cast off to one stitch, pick up along the next edge and knit that section and just keep repeating... i am just going to keep going til i run out of yarn ;o)
I love it because it's not a HUGE amount of stitches on the needle lie it would be if it were knit from edge to edge, i struggle with big projects!
