An Adventure - Part One

We caught the 4am ferry to Dunkirk which took 2 hours

Sunrise on the Dunkirk ferry

Somewhere to sleep for a couple of hours before we head off to Wolfsburg - of course maintenance needed doing!
Unfortunately Rob never got his van fixed so had to be push started every time he stopped anywhere!

Palettes... pretty :oD

Oooooh! blue palettes! :oD

Becky looks thoughtful as i take a photo of a man in his underpants!! ::lol::
They aren't that keen on trousers in Europe, when we got to our first campsite there were more men wandering round in pants and most men wear speedos in the pool!! :oD

Rojjie didn't like his Dutch Liquorice flavour jelly sweets! :oD

The view we had for near enough two days, lovely ain't it :o)

We made it to the Autostadt! That's a football stadium in the background, the VW Arena - so much better than the porche one :oD
The drive took about 14 hours from start to finish and the campsite was closed (obviously!!) when we got there so we slept in a car park on Saturday night. we were up bright and early on Sunday and booked into the campsite and then headed down to the Autostadt for the day. We got there to discover there was a jazz and swing festival on that weekend and for an extra five euro we could stay for the evening's performance from a German swing band :oD

Everyone was SO happy to be there! ::lol::

The worst bridge int he world! It smelled lovely, all those pots had a heliotrope plant in, but they rotated around the (static) bridge and made me fall over!! Very dizzyfying and after i had laughed so hard i then snorted int he face of a stranger, i went on to laugh so much i was crying!! :oD

Lovely and smelly, not lovely and spinny!

Apparantly they have cars at the Autostadt too!
I didn't get any photos of them though :oD
I left that to the experts who are still in Europe, but as soon as they are home i will steal some of their photos for your viewing pleasure :oD
