I've gone PINK!

For October as it's Breast Cancer awareness month.
Please, check your boobies, check your friends boobies... OK well, maybe not but ask them to check them for themselves! don't forget that men are not excluded from breast cancer so make sure the men in your life check theirs too - if you're friendly enough they might let you do it for them *wink* although i'm not sure where i stand on repaying the favour *lol*

so, this month - THINK PINK!

I'm carrying this over into my sock knitting too and am finally using my Breasty yarn that i bought from the Yarn Yard a whole year ago, it's so pretty knitted up :o) I'm trying the Traveler's Stockings pattern from Knitting on the Road (Nancy Bush) but sturggling as to make 80 stitches fit my feet i need to use a 1.5mm needle!! I'm currently wondering if i can reduce the number of stitches and still end up with a pretty sock!

I havent gone pink on my blog, but take a peek cos there is a posting I just put up that you might enjoy Franney.

I am using some semi-solid pink yarn from Chrissy (Brightdyes) for my October socks and a plain Opal pattern that shows off the subtle shades well.

No ideas about your socks and 1.5mm needles, but they will be beautiful when they are finished.

I'm frogging again though, the pattern has come out all skewiff again *sigh*
I may be trying something else for the breasty socks!
