dear readers :o)
What a wonderful weekend it has been so far. Friday was spent at a wonderful car show called "Wheels Day" in Aldershot. Probably my favourite one day show of the year :o)
Saturday was spent at the garden centre and visiting family :o)
Sunday has been spent in the garden - Yes, ALL day! I've sown lots of flower seeds, tidied up the greenhouse, planted up the plug plants i bought yesterday into their pouches and tidied up some of the containers :o)
Absolutely NO knitting has been done though since the crochet last weekend! I don't know what's wrong with me - i have so much i want to do and no inclination whatsoever to do it :o(
I'll be out in the garden again tomorrow, more seeds to sow and a flowerbed to create so i'll be too tired again tomorrow night for anything yarny. I must get back to it though, i didn't get any socks done last month and i really want to get some done this month - perhaps if i do my Monkeys it'll encourage me cos that looks like such a lovely pattern! Orrrrrrrr... i could break away from the KALs and do Cascading Leaves in my vomitous Koigu ;o)
Decisions, decisions! Perhaps that's the problem, i have given myself too much choice? I do have a rather substantial stash at the moment, especially as nothing is getting made. Perhaps i could knit from my stash for a while and actually knit some of these patterns i have been collecting... Time to update the PSAM (personal sock a month) Club i reckon and get stuck in! That can be tomorrow night's task as i'll be too knackered to do anything else! *lol*
Let's just hope the printer holds out, it seems to be on it's last legs!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend :o)

vomitous koigu? is that the colour or the state of the yarn? (at any rate - it made me laugh!)
I love car shows, new or old, what kind of car do you have? We have a '71 Valiant that we're currently restoring. Although they tell me every week that it'll be 3 more weeks.
miss me, the yarn is bile green with speckles of carrot and erm... blue? possibly dark green... i don't have it to hand and all that sticks in my mind is the bile and carrot *lol*
It's shade p521 i believe, i shall endeavour to take pics tomorrow :o)
Elan, we have a '71 beetle and a '72 bay window bus :o)
I just checked out some pics of Valiants, they are lovely looking cars for sure! There were a lot of American cars at the show last week, they are so different to "our" cars!

full marks for your description of the colour - although the sweater on strikker looks quite nice. it's clearly better on its way to FO...
