Here's my "Sock Kit in a Bag" swap parcel from Toni in New Zealand, she was so generous! THREE different types of yarn - there's Lorna's Laces "Black Purl" with matching beads, Opal Uni in pink and some wonderfully squishy and soft red merino from"Utiku".
I am having a great time finding patterns for all of the yarns!
The pattern she sent is "Fiesta Feet!" from Lucy Neatby which requires two colour work and looks VERY scary! I'll use the pink for them and i have just dyed some Opal which will hopefully go with it, a two colour two row stripe in darker pink and plummy-purple. It's a bit patchy but hopefully that will just add to the beauty of it!
